New St. Pete Art Agency Empowers Visual Artists to Thrive
Ever since I landed in Pinellas County 10 years ago, I knew I wanted to be a part of the St. Pete art scene. I was so impressed with the museums, the murals, and most importantly, the sheer volume of talented artists making a living in this beautiful city. After getting to know many of them, I discovered a common thread (which comes as no surprise): Artists just want to make art.
Unfortunately, there’s a whole lot more to being a professional artist than just making the artwork. Between marketing, sales, and the demands of running a business, it can be overwhelming. After all, you didn’t sign up to be an artist because you love writing emails or chasing after collectors! All of this pulls you away from your true passion: creating art.
That’s why I founded Easel Management. After seeing artists face these challenges in areas that I happen to love, I created an art agency dedicated exclusively to serving visual artists.

When Is It Time to Call for Help?
I believe that it’s time to enlist some help when more than half of your time is spent NOT making art. Consider the price of your art, and how much you need or want to be paid hourly. Now factor in the time you spend emailing collectors, writing blogs, dancing on social media, updating your website, contacting galleries… and the list goes on. If you’re making less than a living wage after all of that and more than 50% of your time is spent running your business, you will benefit from a manager.

Creating, collecting, studying, and supporting the arts has been my passion since I can remember. I love art that makes me feel. Joy, anger, confusion – I’m here for all of it!
I built my career in museums, galleries, and independent artist studios before I started this venture, including the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum, Imagine Museum, Duncan McClellan Gallery, Shelby Dillon Studio, and MGA Sculpture Studio.
I believe Artists are the heartbeat of St. Pete. I just want to help keep it beating strong.
